The Funk Hunters + Chali 2na Get Involved with Release of New Video
Vancouver, BC - 'Get Involved', the new single from The Funk Hunters and Jurassic 5 founding member Chali 2na, was just released last week and today the video for the track is premiering exclusively at Live For Live.
'Get Involved' is the second single from The Funk Hunters and Chali 2na's ILLectric EP out on Friday, October 14th. The first single 'Word To Spread' was released in July. 'Get Involved' continues with the socially conscious message of the group and has quickly become a crowd favourite in The Funk Hunters' live sets with Chali 2na, after premiering it live at Burning Man 2016 where they also created buzz for their now infamous Daft Punk set.
The ILLectric EP is the first collaborative release for The Funk Hunters and Chali 2na, and they'll be continuing the collaboration on the road with a string of North American tour dates starting on October 28th in Penticton, BC. See below for full tour listings. Armed with four turntables, The Funk Hunters and Chali 2na deliver a one-of-a-kind audiovisual experience. Combining their love of true DJ culture, they effortlessly weave in and out of hip hop, funk, soul, and electronic bass music, all paired with their stunning custom-curated visuals.
