Acclaimed Vancouver band The Washboard Union released their self-titled debut album on June 26th and they're throwing their Album Release Party tonight at The Waldorf Hotel in Vancouver. Known for their incredible live show, The Washboard Union is a 7-piece outlaw bluegrass band that has been described as "a 3 car pile up of Steve Earle, Drive By Truckers and Old Crow Medicine Show". With 4 singers their sound is undeniable. Add to that banjo, mandolin, dojo, harp, guitar, fiddle, drums, and of course, the mighty washboard! Fritz Media has managed to secure some great press for The Washboard Union so far.
