About Jen Fritz:
JEN FRITZ // PUBLICITY DIRECTOR | FOUNDER
Raised on a crazy mix of her dad’s Willie Nelson records and her mom’s ABBA cassettes, Jen Fritz has been a music lover for about as long as she can remember. Her love of music is what lead to her “first career” in the radio biz, where she started out as an announcer at The River 107 FM in Lethbridge, AB. After working at several different radio stations across Alberta + BC, Fritz landed at SUN FM Group in Kelowna, where she was Midday Announcer/MD/APD until she made the move to Vancouver to work in the music industry.
Upon moving to Vancouver, Fritz began her career in the music biz at Nettwerk and New Music West, before landing at Frontside Group as VP of Media Relations. During her 6 years at the helm of the publicity division of Frontside Group, Fritz ran successful national publicity campaigns for many music + entertainment clients, including: Debbie Harry, Nikki Sixx, Said The Whale and the Barenaked Ladies. In 2009, Fritz left Frontside Group and began freelancing her publicity services with a variety of clients including: VANOC, Strut Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment Canada, which ultimately led to the formation of her own music publicity + digital marketing firm - Fritz Media.
About Phoenix Bain:
PHOENIX BAIN // DIGITAL STRATEGIST
Phoenix Bain is a communications and marketing professional who got her start working in college radio at CFUV 101.9 FM in 2010. She started with the intention of becoming a radio DJ, but her involvement producing local shows changed her path. She began working as a local promoter and talent buyer in Victoria in 2014 and completed a Bachelor of Professional Communications from Royal Roads in 2018.
She began working for DoBC Media as a social strategist and content creator in 2017. In 2018, she founded her own production company, VILA Presents.
With her passion for music always front and centre, she has continued to grow her skills over the years in the content creation, social strategy, and ad campaigns for Victoria bands, music festivals, and venues.
About Brennan Doyle:
BRENNAN DOYLE // DIGITAL STRATEGIST
Brennan Doyle is a media buying professional, as well as a long standing Victoria-based musician well versed in touring, session work, songwriting and production.
Throughout the years, his musical endeavours have led him to perform successful North American tours, open for Grammy Award winning artists, and grow his music production catalogue to include songs with over 3 million combined streams. He has worked closely with artists such as Haley Blais, Diamond Cafe, as well as maintaining his personal project Cartoon Lizard.
His path as a media buyer started as a natural extension of his passion for music, and has branched off and grown from there. His strengths include Facebook advertising, copywriting, videography, and an in depth knowledge of the music industry.
